Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

PrintBit ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use printbit.com, order from us or chat with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, mobile number and password. Your password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; we cannot see it.
  • Delivery details — the names, addresses and contact numbers you enter for delivery.
  • Orders and payments — what you ordered, sizes and options, amounts, the payment method you chose, and any proof of payment you send us. We do not store credit or debit card numbers.
  • Files and designs — artwork, photos and reference images you upload for an order, and designs you save in our design tool.
  • Messages — what you send us through the website chat, including attachments, and our replies.
  • Technical information — your browser and device type and server logs that record requests to our website, used to keep it running and secure.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, print, deliver and support your orders.
  • To contact you about your orders — confirmations, questions about your files, payment and delivery updates.
  • To answer your messages and provide customer support.
  • To run your account, save your designs and show you your order history.
  • To keep our website secure and working properly.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send promotional messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you:

  • Couriers and delivery riders (such as LBC, J&T, bus and van services, and local riders) — your name, address and contact number, to deliver your order.
  • Service providers who run parts of our website for us, under their own privacy and security commitments: Cloudinary (image storage), Pusher (delivering chat messages), Microsoft (email) and Google (the AI features of our design tool).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

When you use an AI feature in the design tool — for example, asking it to arrange text or suggest a design — what you type and the design content it works on are sent to Google's Gemini service to produce the result. Background removal runs entirely in your own browser and your image is not sent to anyone.

4. Cookies and storage in your browser

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only what the website needs to work:

  • A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 7 days.
  • Storage in your browser for your shopping cart, your work in progress in the design tool, and the chat window.
  • Saved copies of design fonts and the background-removal tool, so they do not have to download again.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings; you will then need to sign in again.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account details for as long as your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as Philippine tax and accounting rules require. We keep the files for your orders so that we can answer questions about them and reprint them for you; you can ask us to delete them once your order is complete.

6. How we protect it

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to handle your orders. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will act quickly if anything goes wrong.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to:

  • be told how your personal information is used;
  • see the personal information we hold about you;
  • have incorrect information corrected;
  • object to its use, or ask us to delete or block it, where the law allows;
  • receive a copy of it in a commonly used format; and
  • file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

You can update your account details from your account. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

Our services are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please order with the help of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will let you know on the website or by email.
